    About

The Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular is an annual fall tradition, transforming the Minnesota Zoo grounds into an illuminated display. This isn't a typical theater show; instead, attendees walk through an outdoor exhibit featuring thousands of intricately carved pumpkins, many depicting pop culture figures, historical scenes, or fantastical creatures. It's a visually driven experience that evolves each year, offering a fresh take on classic Halloween aesthetics. This particular showing on Thursday, October 8, 2026, takes place at the Minnesota Zoo in Apple Valley. The event is an outdoor, family-friendly walk-through, suitable for anyone looking for a creative and festive way to enjoy the autumn season. It's a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for a casual evening out.
