Instructions for a Séance

Instructions for a Séance is a new theatrical work from performance artist Michelle Ellsworth. Known for her distinctive blend of humor, technology, and choreography, Ellsworth often explores themes of the body, digital life, and memory. This piece is likely to continue in that vein, offering a unique and thought-provoking experience that blurs the lines between performance art and traditional theater. This showing at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater on Thursday, October 29, 2026, presents an opportunity to see a contemporary artist pushing boundaries in live performance. The Milwaukee Rep's Stackner Cabaret is an intimate setting, well-suited for a work that often invites closer engagement. Audiences interested in experimental theater and performance art will find this particularly compelling.
