Holiday Train Show

The Holiday Train Show at the New York Botanical Garden is an annual tradition where miniature trains navigate through a landscape of New York landmarks, all crafted from natural materials like leaves, seeds, and bark. This long-running exhibit is a detailed and imaginative display, showcasing a unique blend of artistry and engineering rather than a traditional theater performance. It's a distinct way to see familiar city architecture reimagined. This showing on Wednesday, December 2, 2026, offers a mid-week opportunity to visit the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx, NY. The show is presented in the Garden's conservatory, providing a warm, immersive environment perfect for those who appreciate intricate model work, botanical art, and holiday-themed attractions. It's generally enjoyed by families and anyone looking for a visually rich, low-key experience.
