Holiday Train Show

The Holiday Train Show at the New York Botanical Garden is an annual tradition featuring model trains navigating an intricate landscape of over 175 New York landmarks, each crafted from natural materials like bark, leaves, and seeds. This year's display continues its focus on iconic city architecture, all brought to life through miniature artistry and G-scale locomotives. It's a detailed, imaginative installation rather than a live performance, showcasing botanical artistry and engineering. This particular showing on Friday, November 27, 2026, offers a chance to see the popular exhibit in the Bronx. The atmosphere is generally family-friendly and appeals to those who appreciate detailed miniature landscapes, botanical art, and the nostalgia of model trains. It's a good option for a unique holiday season outing.
