The show features a mix of her hit songs and new material, telling a coming-of-age story in the vibrant, sometimes gritty, atmosphere of the city. It’s a chance to see a fresh theatrical take on familiar music and a personal narrative from a celebrated artist. This performance of Hells Kitchen is at Mortensen Hall at The Bushnell in Hartford, CT on Saturday, December 12, 2026. The Bushnell is a classic theater setting, well-suited for a Broadway-style production. It should appeal to those who enjoy contemporary musicals, especially fans of Alicia Keys's work and stories about New York life.
