    About

Hells Kitchen is a new musical with music and lyrics by Alicia Keys, loosely based on her teenage years in New York City. The show features a mix of original songs and Keys's existing hits, woven into a coming-of-age story centered on a young girl navigating her dreams and relationships. It’s a contemporary piece that blends R&B, soul, and pop with a theatrical narrative. This matinee performance of Hells Kitchen takes place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Ed Mirvish Theatre in Toronto. The Mirvish is a classic proscenium arch theater, offering a traditional Broadway-style viewing experience. This show will likely appeal to fans of Alicia Keys's music, as well as those who enjoy modern musical theater productions with a focus on character and urban storytelling.
