About Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at Lyric Theatre New York

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a two-part theatrical event that continues the story of J.K. Rowling's beloved characters. Set nineteen years after the final book, it follows Harry Potter, now an overworked Ministry of Magic employee, and his youngest son, Albus, as they grapple with the past and an unexpected journey through time. The production is known for its elaborate stagecraft and special effects. This Sunday matinee performance at the Lyric Theatre New York is a chance to see the full narrative unfold in one afternoon. The Lyric Theatre offers a grand setting for this kind of large-scale theatrical production. It typically appeals to fans of the Harry Potter series, as well as those who appreciate innovative stage magic and fantasy storytelling.
