About Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at Lyric Theatre New York

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is the two-part stage play continuing the story of J.K. Rowling's wizarding world. This production picks up nineteen years after the final book, following Harry Potter, now an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, and his youngest son, Albus Severus Potter, as they grapple with the past and an unexpected journey through time. It's a large-scale theatrical experience with significant stage magic. This Wednesday evening showing on December 16, 2026, at the Lyric Theatre in New York, NY, offers a chance to see both parts of the play in one day. The Lyric is a grand Broadway house, suitable for a production of this scope. Fans of the Harry Potter books and films, or those who appreciate elaborate stagecraft, will likely find this engaging.
