Hadestown

Hadestown is a musical that reinterprets the ancient Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, setting it in a Depression-era industrial landscape. The show blends folk and jazz influences, telling a story of love, doubt, and the struggle between art and industry. This matinee performance offers a chance to see the current cast deliver a show that earned multiple Tony Awards for its original run. This Saturday afternoon showing of Hadestown at the Walter Kerr Theatre in New York, NY is a good fit for theatergoers interested in narrative-driven musicals with a distinct musical style.
