God of Carnage

Yasmina Reza's God of Carnage, presented by Stadium Theatre, is a sharp, often darkly comedic play about two sets of parents who meet to discuss a playground incident between their children. What starts as a civilized conversation quickly devolves, revealing the characters' own anxieties and prejudices. It's a look at how easily composure can crack under pressure. This Sunday afternoon showing on January 24th at the Stadium Theatre in Woonsocket, RI offers a chance to see a contemporary work that’s known for its witty dialogue and quick pacing. It's a good fit for anyone who appreciates theater that explores human nature with a critical, humorous eye, and doesn't shy away from uncomfortable truths.
