Gillian Welch and David Rawlings - Play Grateful Dead Acoustic Reckoning

Gillian Welch and David Rawlings are bringing their unique acoustic sound to a night dedicated to the Grateful Dead. Known for their intricate harmonies and masterful guitar interplay, this show, "Play Grateful Dead Acoustic Reckoning," sees them reinterpret the Dead's catalog through their distinctive folk and Americana lens. It's a rare chance to hear these songs stripped down and reimagined by two artists celebrated for their profound musicality. This special performance happens on Wednesday, December 16, at the Bearsville Theatre in Woodstock, NY. The theater's intimate setting is well-suited for an acoustic evening, offering a close-up experience with Welch and Rawlings' sparse yet powerful arrangements. It will appeal to fans of traditional American music, acoustic folk, and those curious to hear familiar rock songs presented in a new, thoughtful way.
