From Tchaikovsky to Copland

This program, "From Tchaikovsky to Copland," explores the breadth of classical music from two distinct masters. Expect to hear selections from Tchaikovsky, known for his lush Romantic compositions, alongside works by Aaron Copland, whose sound often evokes American landscapes and folk traditions. It's an opportunity to hear how different eras and regions shaped the classical canon. The performance takes place on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at the Lesher Center for the Arts - Hofmann Theatre in Walnut Creek. The Hofmann Theatre is a well-regarded space for orchestral and classical performances, offering a comfortable setting for an afternoon concert. This kind of event typically appeals to those who appreciate classical music and enjoy discovering connections between composers.
