Free Throw and Microwave

Free Throw and Microwave are playing Grewal Hall, a solid bill for fans of modern emo and alternative rock. Free Throw has a knack for blending melodic guitar work with earnest, shouted vocals. Microwave brings a similar energy, often leaning into a slightly heavier, more dynamic sound. This co-headline setup should offer a good contrast between two bands operating in the same general lane. This show is on a Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at Grewal Hall in Lansing. It's an opportunity to see both acts in a club setting, which often makes for a more direct and energetic performance than larger venues. If you appreciate bands that combine introspective lyrics with powerful live delivery, this will likely be a good evening.
