    About

Four Seasons Theatre presents All Is Calm, a poignant and timely musical retelling of the historic 1914 Christmas Eve truce during World War I. This acapella performance uses carols and songs from the period to weave together the true stories of soldiers from opposing sides who laid down their arms for a brief, unofficial moment of peace. It's a moving piece of musical theater, known for its emotional depth and historical resonance. This matinee performance takes place on Saturday, December 12, 2026, at 2 PM at The Playhouse, part of the Overture Center in Madison, WI. The Playhouse is an intimate setting, well-suited for a vocal performance like this, allowing the audience to connect closely with the narrative and the performers. It's a show that appeals to those interested in historical drama, vocal music, and stories of humanity in challenging times.
