    About

This year's Festival of Christmas - Merry and Melancholy offers a distinctive take on holiday music. Expect a performance that balances the traditional festive spirit with more reflective, perhaps even somber, pieces. It's a chance to hear familiar carols alongside lesser-known works, exploring the full emotional range of the season rather than just the cheer. The show takes place on Saturday, December 5, 2026, at the Capitol Civic Centre in Manitowoc, WI. The Capitol is known for its comfortable theater setting, making it a good fit for an evening of varied musical performance. This event should appeal to those who appreciate a nuanced approach to holiday programming.
