Edgar Allan Poe Doubleheader - The Tell-Tale Heart and The Cask of Amontillado

The Jean McDonough Arts Center presents an Edgar Allan Poe Doubleheader, featuring staged readings of two of Poe's most enduring short stories. This afternoon performance brings "The Tell-Tale Heart" and "The Cask of Amontillado" to life, focusing on the psychological tension and gothic atmosphere that define Poe's work. It's a chance to engage with classic American literature in a direct, theatrical format. This event takes place on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at the BrickBox Theater in Worcester. The BrickBox offers an intimate setting suitable for dramatic readings, allowing the audience to focus closely on the narratives. It’s an ideal afternoon out for those interested in classic literature, dramatic arts, or a dive into the darker side of storytelling.
