Drunk Shakespeare

Drunk Shakespeare is a live show where five actors take on a Shakespearean play, but with a twist: one of them has had five shots of whiskey before curtain. The result is an unpredictable performance that leans into improv and audience interaction. It's a different kind of classical theater experience. This matinee performance of Drunk Shakespeare on Saturday, December 26, 2026, takes place at The Lion Theatre in Chicago. The venue offers an intimate setting for this interactive show, which tends to attract those looking for a night out that's both theatrical and a bit raucous.
