Drunk Shakespeare - A Drunk Christmas Carol

The Drunk Shakespeare Society brings its unique brand of improvised, inebriated theater to a holiday classic with "A Drunk Christmas Carol". One actor downs multiple shots of whiskey before attempting to perform a Shakespearean play, while the remaining cast tries to keep the story on track. Expect unexpected tangents, audience participation, and a very loose interpretation of Dickens' tale. It's a comedic, high-energy take on live theater that's consistently unpredictable. Catch this special holiday performance on Saturday, December 5, at The Ruby Theatre in New York, NY. The venue offers an intimate setting, perfect for this interactive and often rowdy show. It's ideal for anyone looking for a night of laughs and a fresh, irreverent twist on classic literature.
