About Drunk Shakespeare - A Drunk Christmas Carol at The Ruby Theatre

Drunk Shakespeare brings their signature tipsy theatrical chaos to a holiday classic with A Drunk Christmas Carol. One actor in the cast has five shots of whiskey before the show, then attempts to perform Shakespeare's festive tale of Ebenezer Scrooge. The result is an unpredictable, often hilarious take on the familiar story, blending improv and classic text. This unique production runs at The Ruby Theatre in New York, NY on Friday, December 4, 2026. It's a good fit for anyone looking for a lively, unconventional night out at the theater, especially those who appreciate comedy and a fresh perspective on traditional works.
