About Drunk Shakespeare - A Drunk Christmas Carol at The Ruby Theatre

Drunk Shakespeare brings their signature boozy theatrical chaos to a holiday classic with "A Drunk Christmas Carol". Expect a fully-trained actor to perform a Shakespearean role after downing five shots of whiskey, leading to unpredictable hijinks and audience interaction. This show isn't about traditional reverence for the text, but rather a playful, irreverent, and often hilarious take on the Bard and now, Dickens. This special holiday engagement plays out at The Ruby Theatre in New York, NY on Sunday, November 29, 2026. The intimate setting of The Ruby Theatre is well-suited for the interactive and spontaneous nature of Drunk Shakespeare, making it a good fit for anyone looking for a unique, comedic night out that blends classic literature with improv and a bit of spirited fun.
