About Drunk Shakespeare - A Drunk Christmas Carol at The Ruby Theatre

The Drunk Shakespeare Society brings their unique, inebriated take on classic theater to a holiday favorite. For this special run, one actor downs five shots of whiskey before attempting to perform a full adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. Expect plenty of improvisation, audience interaction, and a performance that veers delightfully off-script. It's a comedic, unpredictable night that reimagines the traditional festive tale. This performance of Drunk Shakespeare - A Drunk Christmas Carol takes place on Friday, November 20, 2026, at The Ruby Theatre in New York, NY. The Ruby Theatre offers an intimate setting, often designed to enhance the interactive and improvisational nature of this particular show. It’s a good fit for anyone looking for a lively, unconventional theater experience with a comedic edge, especially those who appreciate a playful twist on the classics.
