About Drunk Shakespeare - A Drunk Christmas Carol at Sage Theatre

Drunk Shakespeare is bringing their unique brand of improvised, alcohol-fueled theater to Washington, DC, this holiday season. Known for taking classic texts and injecting them with genuine inebriation, this show promises a chaotic and hilarious take on Dickens' "A Christmas Carol." Expect a blend of classic lines, unexpected tangents, and audience interaction as the cast attempts to perform while one of them is genuinely drunk. This matinee performance on Saturday, December 26, offers a festive and unconventional way to celebrate the season at the Sage Theatre. It's a great pick for theatergoers who enjoy comedy, improvisation, and a fresh, irreverent spin on traditional stories.
