Drunk Shakespeare - A Drunk Christmas Carol

Drunk Shakespeare brings its unique, boozy take on classic theater to Phoenix with "A Drunk Christmas Carol." This isn't a traditional reading; five professional actors gather, and one downs at least five shots of whiskey before attempting to perform a lead role. The result is an unscripted, often hilarious, and surprisingly interactive retelling of Dickens' holiday classic, blending improv with genuine theatrical moments. Catch this special holiday edition on Friday, December 18, at The Rose Theatre in Phoenix. The intimate setting of this dedicated Drunk Shakespeare venue makes for a lively, unpredictable night out. It's a good fit for anyone looking for a different kind of live theater, particularly those who appreciate improv comedy and a bit of playful chaos with their literature.
