    About

This October, the Lyric Opera House presents Don Giovanni, Mozart's classic opera. This production offers a fresh take on the dramatic story of the legendary libertine, known for its blend of comedy, tragedy, and some of opera's most recognized arias. It's a chance to see a foundational work of the genre performed with modern staging. The matinee performance on Wednesday, October 21, at 2:00 PM, is a good option for those looking to experience grand opera in the heart of Chicago. The Lyric Opera House is a large, ornate venue, well-suited for this kind of theatrical presentation. It typically draws an audience who appreciates established classical works and theatrical spectacle.
