Death Becomes Her

Death Becomes Her brings the musical adaptation of the classic dark comedy to Segerstrom Hall. This production translates the 1992 film's themes of vanity, immortality, and rivalry into a stage format, featuring new music and a book that revisits the original story with a theatrical lens. Fans of the movie will find familiar characters and plot points, presented with a fresh interpretation for the stage. The show runs on Thursday, August 5, 2027, at Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa. Segerstrom Hall is a large proscenium theater, well-suited for musical productions of this scale. It’s a good option for those who appreciate musicals with a comedic edge and a touch of the macabre, or anyone interested in seeing a familiar story re-imagined for live performance.
