Come From Away (Encore Performance)

The Weathervane Playhouse is bringing back its acclaimed production of Come From Away for an encore performance. This musical tells the true story of 7,000 airline passengers stranded in Gander, Newfoundland, after 9/11, and the small town that welcomed them. It's a moving, often humorous, and ultimately uplifting show, known for its powerful ensemble cast and folk-rock score. This special matinee on Sunday, January 17, 2027, at the Weathervane Playhouse in Akron, OH, offers another chance to see the company's take on this Broadway hit. It's a great option for theatergoers who appreciate contemporary musicals with strong narratives and a focus on community and human connection.
