    About

The Jefferson Theatre's Classic Movie Night series presents the original Scream. This 1996 slasher redefined the genre with its meta-commentary and blend of horror and dark humor, becoming a cultural touchstone. Wes Craven's direction and Kevin Williamson's script created a film that remains influential for its smart take on horror tropes and memorable scares. Catch this screening on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at the historic Jefferson Theatre in Beaumont. It's a chance to see a foundational horror film on the big screen, ideal for fans of 90s cinema, slasher flicks, or anyone looking for a classic Halloween season watch.
