Classic Game Fest - Friday

Classic Game Fest - Friday kicks off the annual celebration of retro gaming at the Palmer Events Center. This isn't just a convention; it's a deep dive into video game history, with hundreds of arcade cabinets, consoles from every era, and a massive vendor hall for rare finds and classic games. Expect tournaments, panels with industry figures, and a chance to play some of the foundational titles that shaped gaming. This Friday session offers the first look at the festival, often less crowded than Saturday, giving attendees more time to explore. It's happening at the Palmer Events Center in Austin, TX, a large convention space perfect for this kind of expansive, interactive event. This is a good fit for anyone who grew up with a controller in their hand or is curious about the origins of modern gaming.
