Candlelight - Tribute to Juan Gabriel on Strings

This Candlelight performance offers a unique classical interpretation of Juan Gabriel's extensive songbook. Expect a string ensemble to reimagine the work of one of Mexico's most beloved and prolific songwriters, bringing a new dimension to his romantic ballads and ranchera classics. It's a chance to hear familiar melodies presented with a different texture and mood. The event takes place on Saturday, November 21, 2026, at St Pauls Episcopal Church in Bakersfield. The setting of a church often lends itself to a more reflective and intimate atmosphere, well-suited for classical arrangements and a focused listening experience. This show typically draws those who appreciate both classical music and the enduring legacy of Latin American pop.
