Candlelight - Queen vs ABBA

Candlelight: Queen vs ABBA brings a classical quartet to reinterpret the catalogs of two pop music giants. This show offers a different way to engage with familiar songs, presenting them in a new instrumental context rather than as cover versions. Expect to hear hits from both bands arranged for strings, highlighting melodies and harmonies in a stripped-down setting. This Candlelight concert takes place on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at Unity Temple on the Plaza in Kansas City, MO. The venue’s architecture and acoustics should complement the classical arrangements. It’s a good fit for listeners who appreciate orchestral interpretations of popular music or those looking for a relaxed evening with a unique sonic experience.
