Candlelight - Ed Sheeran Meets Coldplay

Candlelight: Ed Sheeran Meets Coldplay offers a unique classical interpretation of two modern pop giants. This performance reimagines the hits of Ed Sheeran and Coldplay through the intimate lens of a classical ensemble, moving beyond their stadium anthems to highlight the melodic craftsmanship of their songwriting. It's a chance to hear familiar tunes presented in an entirely new light, stripping them down to their core musicality. The show takes place on Friday, December 18, 2026, at the McDougall United Church in Edmonton, AB. This setting provides an atmospheric backdrop for the Candlelight series, known for its ambient lighting and acoustically rich spaces. It's a fitting experience for fans of both artists, as well as anyone looking for a relaxed evening of instrumental music in a distinctive venue.
