Candlelight - Christmas Carols on Strings

Candlelight - Christmas Carols on Strings offers a chance to hear classic holiday tunes reinterpreted. This performance features blues and jazz arrangements of traditional carols, presented in a string quartet format. It’s a distinct take on familiar music, moving away from standard orchestral or pop versions. The show is on Saturday, December 19, 2026, at Unity Temple on the Plaza in Kansas City, MO. The venue’s architecture often lends itself to a focused, intimate listening experience. This event should appeal to those looking for a relaxed evening of instrumental music, particularly if they appreciate jazz and blues stylings applied to holiday standards.
