Candlelight - Christmas Carols on Strings

Candlelight - Christmas Carols on Strings offers a holiday concert featuring classic carols reinterpreted with a blues and jazz sensibility. This performance highlights string arrangements that bring a fresh perspective to familiar tunes, leaning into improvisation and a more soulful delivery than traditional renditions. It's a chance to hear well-known melodies presented in an unexpected way. This Candlelight concert takes place on Saturday, December 19, 2026, at The Yale Theater in Oklahoma City. The venue is known for its intimate setting, which should complement the acoustic nature of the string performances. This type of show often appeals to those who appreciate instrumental music and a relaxed, atmospheric evening.
