Candlelight - Christmas Carols on Strings

Candlelight - Christmas Carols on Strings offers a holiday concert with a blues and jazz interpretation of classic carols. This performance aims to reframe familiar seasonal tunes through string arrangements, providing a different perspective on traditional Christmas music. It’s a chance to hear these songs presented in a new, perhaps more improvisational, style. This concert is on Friday, December 18, 2026, at the Arts Center of Oak Park in Oak Park, IL. The Arts Center typically provides an intimate setting for musical performances, which should suit the string arrangements. This type of show often appeals to those looking for a relaxed evening of live music, particularly if they appreciate jazz or blues influences in their holiday listening.
