Candlelight - Best of Hip-Hop

Candlelight: Best of Hip-Hop brings a unique take on classic hip-hop tracks. This performance features instrumental arrangements of well-known rap and hip-hop songs, played by a live ensemble in a candlelit setting. It’s a chance to hear familiar beats and melodies reimagined, offering a different perspective on the genre. This Saturday, December 19, 2026, the First Presbyterian Church of Oakland hosts the event. The church's acoustics and atmosphere provide a distinct backdrop for the music, moving away from a typical club or concert hall vibe. It suits those looking for a relaxed evening with a focus on musicality and a fresh interpretation of hip-hop.
