Candlelight - 90s Hip Hop on Strings

The Candlelight series brings a classical interpretation to 90s hip hop, performed by a string quartet. This show takes familiar tracks and recontextualizes them, offering a different way to engage with the music. It's a chance to hear these songs stripped back, focusing on melody and arrangement. This performance takes place on Sunday, December 6, 2026, at Centro Asturiano de Tampa. The venue's architecture provides a backdrop for the Candlelight experience, which typically features a room lit by many candles. This event might appeal to those who appreciate both classical instrumentation and the foundational era of hip hop.
