Buena Vista Social Club

This Sunday afternoon, ASU Gammage presents The Music of Buena Vista Social Club, an opportunity to hear the enduring sounds of the famed Cuban ensemble. While the original collective has largely retired from touring, this performance brings together some of the musicians who played with the Buena Vista Social Club over the years, ensuring the spirit of their classic recordings is carried forward. Expect to hear the rich rhythms and melodies of son, bolero, and cha-cha-chá that defined their influential work. The show takes place on Sunday, April 25, 2027, at ASU Gammage in Tempe. This is a seated concert hall environment, well-suited for a focused listening experience. Fans of traditional Cuban music, Latin jazz, and world music will appreciate this chance to connect with a foundational part of that legacy.
