Boo at the Zoo

Boo at the Zoo is the Columbus Zoo's annual family-friendly Halloween celebration. This event transforms the zoo grounds into a festive, non-scary environment, offering trick-or-treat stations, character meet-and-greets, and special animal encounters throughout the day. It's designed for younger audiences and families looking for a daytime, gentle approach to holiday fun, focusing on costumes and community rather than frights. This year's Boo at the Zoo takes place on Sunday, October 25, at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium in Powell, OH. It’s a great option for parents and kids seeking a safe, engaging, and themed outing before the evening Halloween festivities. Expect a lively atmosphere suitable for all ages, particularly those with small children.
