Billy Elliot

Billy Elliot is returning to the London stage at the Adelphi Theatre. This musical, adapted from the 2000 film, follows a young boy in a mining town who discovers a passion for ballet. The story addresses themes of class, community, and defying expectations, set against the backdrop of the 1980s UK miners' strike. This run of Billy Elliot offers a chance to see the production in its original West End home. The Adelphi Theatre provides an established setting for this kind of theatrical presentation. It’s a show that generally appeals to audiences interested in contemporary musicals with a strong narrative and social commentary.
