Bicket, Weiss and Bach

Bicket, Weiss and Bach brings together three acclaimed classical musicians for an evening centered on baroque and early classical works. Harpsichordist Richard Egarr, violinist Rachel Podger, and cellist Alison McGillivray are known for their interpretations of this era, focusing on the interplay and distinct voices of their instruments within the chamber setting. This performance on Saturday, March 6, 2027, at the Chicago Symphony Center offers a chance to hear these artists in a program exploring the works of Bach and his contemporaries. It's a good fit for listeners who appreciate historically informed performances and the detailed sound of chamber music in a dedicated concert hall.
