Avenue Q

Avenue Q is a musical comedy, a coming-of-age story in a New York City neighborhood. It’s known for its adult themes, performed by a mix of human and puppet characters, often compared to a raunchier version of Sesame Street. This production at the Shaftesbury Theatre continues the show's run in London, offering a chance to see a contemporary classic. This Friday matinee performance on November 20, 2026, at the Shaftesbury Theatre in London, provides an afternoon opportunity to catch the show. It's a good fit for those who appreciate musicals with a sharp wit and a bit of an edge, and don't mind their puppets having adult conversations.
