Appropriate

Appropriate is a play that explores family dynamics and historical memory through the lens of a Southern family confronting their patriarch's unsettling past. This production at The Jenny Boyd Theatre delves into themes of race, inheritance, and the stories we tell ourselves to make sense of our origins. It’s a sharp, often uncomfortable, look at how the past continues to shape the present. The Jenny Boyd Theatre in Knoxville, TN is hosting this run of Appropriate on Friday, February 12, 2027.
