Almost Maine

Almost, Maine is a play by John Cariani, structured as a series of vignettes exploring love and loss in a remote, mythical northern town. This production at Theatre Works New Milford brings together nine short scenes, each focusing on different couples and their relationships, often with a touch of magic realism. It's a character-driven work that delves into the complexities of human connection. This showing of Almost, Maine takes place on Saturday, December 19, 2026, at Theatre Works in New Milford, CT. The venue is an intimate setting, well-suited for a play that relies on close character interaction and subtle emotional shifts. It tends to draw audiences who appreciate contemporary American theater and stories about everyday life.
