Alcatraz Day Tour

The Alcatraz Day Tour offers a unique opportunity to explore one of America's most famous former prisons. This isn't a traditional play, but rather an immersive historical experience, often featuring compelling audio narratives and guided insights into the lives of both inmates and guards. It's a chance to engage directly with a significant piece of American history, presented with a theatrical touch that brings the stories to life. This tour departs from Pier 33 in San Francisco on Saturday, November 22, 2026. The format typically involves ferry transport to the island, followed by self-guided audio tours and ranger-led presentations, allowing visitors to move through the cell blocks and grounds at their own pace. It appeals to history buffs, those interested in true crime, and anyone looking for a unique San Francisco experience beyond the usual tourist spots.
