Alcatraz Day Tour

The Alcatraz Day Tour offers a chance to explore one of America's most famous former federal prisons. This isn't a traditional performance, but rather an immersive historical experience that delves into the island's unique past, from its time as a military fortress to its notorious role in housing some of the country's most dangerous criminals. Visitors often appreciate the self-guided audio tour, which provides context and stories from both inmates and guards. This particular tour is scheduled for Sunday, October 18, 2026, departing from Pier 33 in San Francisco. It's an ideal outing for those interested in American history, true crime, or unique San Francisco landmarks. The experience involves a ferry ride to the island and several hours of exploration on foot, offering views of the bay and city skyline.
