    About

A John Waters Christmas brings the legendary filmmaker and author to The Vermont Hollywood for his annual holiday show. Expect an evening of Waters' signature wit and irreverence, as he shares his unique perspective on the festive season. This isn't your typical wholesome Christmas special; it's a dive into the absurdities and delights of the holidays through the eyes of a true cultural icon. This special one-night-only event on Saturday, December 5, 2026, offers a chance to see Waters in a more intimate setting than his film screenings. The Vermont Hollywood provides a classic theater atmosphere, well-suited for a spoken word performance. Fans of Waters' films and books, or anyone looking for a darkly humorous take on Christmas, will find this a memorable way to kick off the season.
