A Drunk Christmas Carol

A Drunk Christmas Carol is a live theatrical production that reimagines the classic Dickens tale with an improvisational, boozy twist. Each performance features a rotating cast of actors who take on the familiar roles, with one performer having a few drinks before stepping on stage. This creates an unpredictable, often hilarious interpretation of Scrooge's journey, blending scripted moments with genuine, in-the-moment reactions. This particular showing on Saturday, January 2, 2027, is at The Lion Theatre in Chicago. The intimate setting of the venue is well-suited for this kind of interactive, comedic theater, making it a good fit for anyone looking for a relaxed, late-holiday laugh that breaks from traditional stage plays.
