About A Drunk Christmas Carol at The Lion Theatre

A Drunk Christmas Carol offers a unique, improvised take on the classic Dickens story. Known for its chaotic and often hilarious performances, this show features a cast of professional actors who have had a few drinks, leading to an unpredictable and very adult reinterpretation of Scrooge's journey. It's a comedic departure from traditional holiday theater, leaning into the unexpected. This particular performance takes place on Saturday, November 21, 2026, at The Lion Theatre in Chicago. The intimate setting of The Lion Theatre often lends itself well to interactive and character-driven comedy. It's a good fit for anyone looking for a less conventional, more raucous way to kick off the holiday season.
