A Christmas Carol - A Ghost Story of Christmas

A Christmas Carol: A Ghost Story of Christmas returns to Rubicon Theatre Company, offering a traditional take on Dickens' classic. This production emphasizes the ghostly elements of the story, focusing on the apparitions and their impact on Scrooge rather than a purely festive presentation. It's a chance to see a familiar tale interpreted with a specific thematic lens. This staging is at Rubicon Theatre Company in Ventura, CA on Thursday, December 3, 2026. The Rubicon is a regional theater known for its intimate setting, which often suits dramatic narratives like this. It's a good fit for those who appreciate classic literature and a more reflective, perhaps slightly darker, approach to holiday storytelling.
