A Chanticleer Christmas

A Chanticleer Christmas brings the renowned male vocal ensemble to Oakland for their annual holiday program. Chanticleer is known for its pure, unaccompanied voices and wide-ranging repertoire, though this performance will focus on traditional carols, sacred music, and seasonal favorites. Expect a blend of historical and contemporary arrangements delivered with their signature precision and warmth. This afternoon performance on Saturday, December 19, 2026, takes place at The Cathedral of Christ the Light in Oakland. The cathedral's acoustics and architecture are particularly well-suited for a vocal ensemble of this caliber, providing an immersive setting for the music. It's an event that typically appeals to those who appreciate classical vocal performance and a refined holiday experience.
